Thanks to the Airdrive design, the new TDR is now lighter and more responsive compared to the previous version. The Airdrive rotor ensures increased sensitivity during the fight and reduces the risk of fish being released. The one-piece, hollow Airdrive bail combined with the exceptionally light Airdrive spool and new rotor lead to reduced weight at the front of the reel and improved balance, resulting in better casting performance. The HardbodyZ aluminum reel body provides a distortion-resistant Tough Digigear housing and high retrieve power. Large gears in the drive unit additionally ensure smooth operation and optimal power transmission - ideal when heavy sets must be transported over long distances. The Longcast ABS aluminum spool has a special spool rim that reduces friction and contributes to longer casting distances. The design of the Twistbuster III on a monofilament reel is also ideal for use with braided lines: the braided line does not compress when reeled in, resulting in less twisting.
